DOJ Releases FullTilt Funds to pay Suppliers

21 June 2012

It seems that part of the funds withheld from FullTilt Poker during Black Friday will partially be unlocked by the DOJ (Department Of justice)

As reported by the Italian online magazine assopoker, the DOJ will unblock part of these funds so that PocketKings, the company that handled FTP, can pay of a debt dated between 2010 and 2011 to one of its suppliers, PokerOlymp, a German company based in Malta.

Besides PokerOlymp, other communications providers and other partners could benefit of this “funds release” authorized by the DOJ, but, they will have to work together with the Irish authorities to monitor the delicate operation.

As for players funds, no word yet. What relates to reimburse the players will certainly be managed by PokerStars as soon as the negotiations with DOJ are finished.
