Marvin Rettenmaier favourite to win WPT Cyprus

18 players remained to play the Day 4 of the WPT Cyprus Main Event at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino in Kyrenia, Cyprus, which started 11th season of this prestigious live poker tournament circuit.

The event lasted until there was the official final table of 6 players. The Israeli Ran Azor managed to finish the session as chip leader with a stack of 2,405,000 chips, followed by Russian Artur Voskanyan (2.003.000). The third stack is held by the German Marvin "Mad" Rettenmaier (2.002.000), that according to records, seems the favorite to win the WPT Cyprus title. Rettenmaier is part of the PartyPoker Pro Team and we can highlight his victory at the WPT Championship. With only 25 years, has more than $ 3 million in live tournament profit.

Out of the final table there are players as the leader of Day 2 Sam El Sayed (WPT Amneville winner), Robert Mizrachi (winner of a WSOP ® bracelet in 2007 and brother of Michael Mizrachi), Andrey Shatilov (winner of the GSOP Grand Final) and Erik Cajelais (Day 3 leader and winner of a WSOP ® bracelet in 2009), which ended in the final table bubble.
