Will Amaya Gaming finally purchase Ongame?

The soap-opera evolving the sale of Ongame Network may be near the end, at least that’s the believe of the site pokerfuse. They say that the Canadian company Amaya Gaming is the future buyer of the network, which is still owned by bwin.party.

Ongame was acquired by Bwin in 2005 by 473 million Euros (then still called the room Bet & Win). Now that bwin.party has the PartyPoker software, they talk of a possible sale for € 20 million.

First was ShuffleMaster, which once almost complete the agreement for the purchase of the network, but in late June announced the end of negotiations. Then there was talk of Zynga, a company listed on the market for the best games for Facebook.

Now it’s rumored that Amaya Gaming, Canadian company with an estimated $300 million net worth, and that two months ago bought Criptologic for $103 million. Amaya provides entertainment solutions for regulated markets and should actually complete the purchasing during the Global Gaming Expo to be held in October in Las Vegas.
