Einhorn Donates Prize from The Big One to charity

The biggest tournament ever in the history of poker events, The Big One For One Drop, is up to the final 8.
One of these players, David Einhorn founder and president of an hedge fund “Greenlight Capital” announced today that any prize he wins in this tournament he will donate to charity.

The name Einhorn came to public highlights when the billionaire announced that he would try to buy the Baseball team New York Mets.
This is not Einhorn’s first donation, in 2006 he donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation” the prize that he won at the Main Event f the WSOP that year (he finished 18th).
Now he is one of the 8 finalists of the Big One For one Drop and he already guaranteed a $1.237.333$ prize if he falls in 8th place, Einhorn announced that will give the prize won to the charity institution City Year, an organization that Works in 23 US cities and that volunteer teenagers from 17 to 22 years old to be tutors to younger children in more problematic schools.

Poker and charity are always hand in hand with David Einhorn, because it was in a charity poker event that Einhorn played poker for the first time.
