iPoker Network Divided in September 1st

22 June 2012

The iPoker network is currently second in number of players just behind PokerStars.
The network confirmed its intention to split their rooms in 2 different networks according to a “Monthly Ranking” that will become active from the first September.

The new rules will become effective as of first July and all rooms in the network will have a performance evaluation based on previously chosen indicators. The network changes will start in September 1st, 2012.

The iPoker network is operated by Playtech, a UK based company, and gathers more than 40 brands, where we find names like Titan Poker, William Hill, PokerPlex, among others…
According to the document that described the future changes, the intention is to “maximize the player experience.”.

In short, the iPoker network will divide their rooms in two groups and players from each group will play each other. Now, the only thing left to do is to wait and see in what group the rooms will be part of.
