Zynga in the lead to acquire Ongame

05 July 2012

One of last week’s biggest news was the cancelation of the negotiations between Shuffle Master and bwin.party for the acquisition of the Ongame network in a €20 Million deal that was almost concluded when the announcement was made.

Now, according to EGRmagazine there are five companies interested in acquiring the Ongame network with Zynga Poker in front of the pack.

Zynga representatives have travelled last week to Stockholm (headquarters of Ongame) to initiate the negotiations. Zynga that has millions of players in their facebook games is now giving its first steps in real money games.

Like how has happened with Facebook, Zynga also suffered seriously with the entrance in the stock market. The downfall doesn’t stop and is already hitting the $435 Millions. The entrance in the world of real wagering will be (at least for the point of view from administration) the push to change the course of the company in the stock Market.
